First of all, I measure one cup of the rice put it into the pot. I use some clean water to wash it. After several times for washing it, I measure about two cups of the water and put it into the pot. I cook for about 30 minutes, and then I turn off the fire for about 10 minutes. The steps sound easy, but they just took me about an hour to do it. The rice is a little bit different from my mother’s. I think I maybe put too much water in it.
